Linnea's Garden plays punk rock you can dance to. Their music and live performance channels '70s punk, riot grrrl, and goth, with a mission to inject energy and destroy expectations through a queer femme lens. Artists that inspire them include Blondie, Iggy Pop, David Bowie, The Cure, Nine Inch Nails, and Amyl and the Sniffers. The Boston based trio is led by Dr. Linnea Herzog on guitar and lead vocals. Since forming in 2020, they have toured across 18+ states, released four records, and achieved international airplay. Their newest EP “Get Heard” will be released in 2026.

Linnea’s Garden’s 2021 debut EP Nowhere Friday Nights was born out of late night jam sessions that salvaged a pandemic summer. Drawing inspiration from ‘60s girl groups and ‘70s glam rock, the EP challenges listeners’ expectations with “consistently catchy and subversive takes on power pop and punk” (Nat Marlin, Allston Pudding). In April 2022, Linnea’s Garden released their full-length album Fashion Show on Red on Red Records. It’s 13 tracks of “disco dressed down in gutter glam” (Jed Gottlieb, Boston Herald), “just waiting to erupt on a dance floor” (Ken Sears, If It’s Too Loud). The single “Cut & Paste” was one of Bill Kelly’s Personal Picks on Little Steven’s Coolest Songs in the World on SiriusXM, and Linnea’s Garden was nominated for Punk Act of the Year in the Boston Music Awards.

With 2023’s follow-up record Mirrors, “Linnea's Garden has thrown overboard all inhibitions, all pretending, all ways of trying to please. Singer, guitarist and songwriter Linnea Herzog has released her inner punkrocker and lays it at the feet of the listener and the world has become an incredibly better place because of it” (Wout de Natris, WoNoBlog). The lead single “Comeback” celebrates a joyous return to live shows and the music video directed by Natalie Peracchio was an official selection of Grrl Haus Cinema 2023. The record also contains “Pathological Liar,” a pop-punk banger with “serious sonic punch” (Rob Duguay, Medium) about how sometimes the right relationship - and your best life - is hiding in plain sight.

Linnea’s Garden’s 2024 EP, Looking forward to the moment, is a celebration of staying true to yourself. “Chaotic Bisexual Summer” was the record’s lead single, “a joyful dam burst of sensuality” (Victoria Wasylak, Vanyaland) coinciding with the band’s first Midwest tour. Throughout 2024, Linnea’s Garden released music videos for each of the record’s five tracks, culminating in release shows in New England and a Southwest tour in Spring 2025. Because coming out isn’t something you do just once, but time and again, “Chaotic Bisexual Summer (Chaos Mix)” was released on June 20, 2025, followed by a second Midwest tour.
